KDE Plasma still treats solid color desktops as first-class citizens. Yes, I'm looking at you, GNOME! However, there is just one default color. I feel like this is somewhat symptomatic for KDE - everything is configurable, but you have to provide the options. OK, at least there are options which don't require manually setting keys using gsettings... I mean - wtf, GNOME?
