Workbench 1.0 through 1.3 (1985–1988) drove the Amiga's desktop with a famously economical four-color palette: a blue background, a near-black navy for text, white for highlights, and a warm orange accent. That blue-and-orange look is instantly recognizable to a generation of computer users.
