Windows 2000 refined the NT line with a clean, professional desktop. Its default Windows Classic scheme wore a distinctive blue, while Display Properties still offered the full grid of basic swatches and the familiar named schemes — from Brick to Wheat — carried over from the 9x era. It was the last Windows to wear the classic flat look before Luna arrived with XP.
